Graduate Trainee Wealth Management Specialist

We have an opportunity for a highly ambitious graduate to train with us for a career as a Wealth Management Specialist. Wealth Management combines thorough tax and financial planning with expert investment portfolio management.
The successful candidate will join our (long established) four-year graduate training programme and will initially work under the direct supervision of one of the firm’s directors. In the early stages their duties will be predominately administrative in nature with the candidate becoming more involved in the advice and investment process as their knowledge and experience develops. The successful candidate will be provided with full support and assistance in gaining the relevant professional qualifications.
Having gained their Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, in years three and four they will become actively involved in client meetings and the provision of advice under supervision. As their experience and knowledge grows, they can expect to be advising clients whose investment and financial planning requirements are progressively more sophisticated.
The four year programme will begin on Monday 29 July 2019. The training will be structured to address the needs of the successful applicant and regular reviews will take place to highlight their specific development and training requirements.

There is a very competitive basic salary of £24,000 pa plus regular six monthly bonuses.

The first round of interviews will commence the week beginning 25 February 2019 and successful candidates will be asked to return for a second interview and an assessment from the week beginning 25 March 2019. The final interviews are expected to take place on 1 May 2019 when candidates will be required to research a topic which they will present to the company’s directors.
